3,258 Edmonton adults were assessed for psychiatric disorders and social problem behaviours. The graphic shows a high level of
association between social problems and psychiatric disorders. Out of the 64 disorder-problem pairings, only seven did not show a
statistically significant association (grey squares). Thus, any diagnosis is associated with all, or nearly all, social problems.

OR = Odds Ratio. Example: A red square indicates that suicide attemptors have more than 10 times the odds of having
schizophrenia, in comparison to non-attemptors (and vice verse).
